They don't look like a failure to me, they look cool.
They look too moist. Try using less frosting next time.Also, white is a little more difficult than chocolate because it shows crumbs so easily.Either drop them in the bowl (Don't stir them around) and then cover with more coating. When covered, lift them out with a spoon and tap handle on edge of bowl to force excess coating to fall off. Then let slide off the spoon on to your wax paper.Or… double dip them.
