Our Apartment

Entryway:
 Kitchen (now with no bed!)
Bookcase (Generously donated by the Pulsiphers)! Keyboard!
Table and Chairs (also from the Pulsiphers)!
"New" couches! (Free from craigslist)

Love that we have room for 2 couches :)

We got this lamp for $8...I also convinced Garrett that this picture arrangement was a good idea. It took a lot of courage for Garrett not to arrange them in a perfect square.

We have stairs AND a washer and dryer.
We have a second bedroom with a big ol' closet. I literally don't know where we put our stuff before.

Garrett of course had to add shelves wherever he could.
And he built us a bedframe.

And we painted the mantle he made.
We got a new mattress! Anyone who wants a really good and cheap mattress--go to Mattress Dealzz.
Yellow! We are really enjoying the tall ceilings in our place..quite a change from the 6 1/2 foot ceilings of yesteryear.
:D I love our comforter and pillows.
I also love our second sink upstairs.
And here is a picture of the upstairs bathroom.
We finally got this curved shower rod that Garrett has always wanted. It's actually way cooler than I thought.
Thank you our friends Miken and Eddy for introducing us to this place!

this looks amazing! I am so happy for you, you deserve this after your last small place. Where are you guys living now? and what are you up to, I feel so out of the loop

What a contrast from the basement you lived in! And such nice, big windows too. Sometimes I think it is a good thing to live in smaller, older apartments first, so when we move to bigger, better places we appreciate them so much more, right? It looks great! Plus, free couches to boot! Whoo hoo!
