So after about 7 months of looking, interviewing, interviewing, and interviewing, I finally found a real job! Starting January 4th, I am going to be an Instructional Designer for the Family History department at the Church. What makes this a real job, you ask? Well, for starters, I will actually be using the skills I learned (and paid for) in college. I will be designing lessons that teach people how to use the online services of Family Search. I will be organizing the live lessons of Family History Librarians into shorter movie clips. I will be doing lots of other stuff too :) Yay! It seems that going to college was not a waste of time after all :) Garrett and I are so excited about this job, and next semester looks like it is going to be a lot better than this one. (Oh, I wanted to point out that when I say "I found" this job, I really mean my dad found and recommended me for this job--it is with people he used to work with. Thank you Dad!)

Yay! This sounds like such a sweet job!
so excited for you! its so great to be at a job you love!
your dad is good at finding jobs for other people, he got one for me in college, but I am offended at your implication that working at a law firm is not a "real" job. from Brad.
