1 Week Old

It's been a crazy first week of life for Jackson!

 Things I have just loved:
His extra big feet. Everyone says "oh, he's going to be tall!" I think he might just be big-footed :)

 How tiny he is! Even his newborn clothes are way too big.

 His skinny legs (also, notice that his feet are almost as long as his shins).

 His soft, soft skin.

 His newborn smell. His squishy cheeks.

His ears--they are the same shape as Garrett's. His red hair!

And I love dressing him in his little outfits.

I just love holding him and how he cuddles right in to you. He will fall right asleep in your arms. He is very, very sleepy and if he gets too warm and cozy it's nearly impossible to keep him awake. So cute, but sad when I have to feed him and make him uncomfortable!


And so, even when he is a little stinker and poos on the carpet or won't eat, or barfs and then pees and then barfs again on every new outfit I put on him, I just can't get too upset, because he's just too delightful in every other way :) Happy first week Jack!
